My needs are met by the old P3P (except portability) and the Mavic Pro. Until reach the stage where I can take stunning video and stills, something with enhanced picture quality is unlikely to be worth buying. Broadly speaking, solely from my point of view, buying the latest kit because you want the best kit is not a substitute for skill. It is unlikely the sharper image, the 20MP snap or other gimics will be noticed or appreciated by others if the photo or video is the usual mundane quality. Very seldom do my pics raise a 'WOW!' so why waste the money. If it was my first drone, I would wait a while and see the performance issues of the MP2s before buying. Has DJI cleaned up its act on service? I wouldn't rely on it. I always buy from a reputable source where the guarantee means I get my own drone repaired and returned, or a brand new one in its place. |
