Hello, I have a little problem. Since I tried the function "Find my Drone", the rear Status Indicator lights don't work anymore. Also I can't reset the Mavic to factory default, because this function is missing in the DJI Assistant. Sorry for my English, Google did it for me. Who knows what to do?

The Mavic Air had a similar bug on release.

Try going into the App and switch the lights on and off in the settings in there and see if that resets it.

Thanks for the info, I can only turn on the red front LED´s again, the rear status LEDs are off!

Yes I have, have already done the firmware refresh. All without success! Can I reset to factory settings without DJI Assistant? This function is no longer available with the DJI Assistat 2 For Mavic v2.0.0 Software. The rear status LEDs remain off!

Is that what the little button does hidden on the side of the Mavic2 behind one of the flaps?

I have the same problem, I can not find anyone that has a solution to fix this

The button starts the binding process!

I have the same problem with my new Mavic 2 Zoom..    I have been In touch with DJI Support and they want me to send it back ..  That is really hard as I am flying as much as I can and being new to DJI products I have not have this much fun in a long lime it is amazing..  It would be great to be able fix this with out sending it back and being with out my M2 Zoom for about 2 weeks..  

DJI sent me an APK file of the DJI GO 4 app which fixed the problem. I didn't have to send back my Mavic 2!

The same happened to me on my Mavic 2 Pro. I couldn't figure out why the status leds (And the head leds) stopped working.  I thought I'd try the Find My Drone feature just for fun. Big mistake. So now I have to call DJI support :-(

I sent my M2P in for the rear status lights not working. They sent me a replacment and just realized they don't work again after going into the "Find my drone" menu. I'm glad I came across this thread. So am I going to have to get this apk file only from DJI or can I get it from somewhere else?

Yes,Thommy is right, that's the short term fix. The update for the Go 4 app provides an additional option to turn on/off the status leds. Its in MC Settings, Advanced Settings. It appears the long term fix will be in a future firmware update. DJI Support were very quick to assist even on a Sunday :-)

Yes, I have Android.

DJI Support suggested the quick fix via the GO 4 update was only available on Android. But I'm not sure if the problem occurs with IOS as well. To me, it seems the problem is with the aircraft firmware failing to restore the LED functionality after using "Find My Drone" and turning on the "Flash Lights and Beep" feature.  The option in the GO 4 app just lets you turn it back on.  I'm sure it will be fixed properly soon.

I contacted customer support and they said it's either because of my phone or the mavic is bad and I'd have to send it in for repair!?!!?!
Anyhow I went ahead with the dji apk update from that link, the started everything up again, turned on then off the arm led enable in the app and like magic the status LED's came on!!
Finally!! I was about to sent the whole freaking thing back.

I beleive the status LED issue only happens on non-supported phones as was in my case using old  note3 or else this issue would have been alot moe known.

You have to download and install the special version of the GO 4 app using the link provided by Thommy12 above or contact DJI Support. The standard version doesn't have the option. Then connect everything up and from the flight screen click on the three dots to bring up the menu. Select the first icon (looks like a quadcopter from above). The brings up the MC (Main Controller) settings. Click on Advanced. Then scroll down to "Turn on Aircraft Arm LEDs" and turn it on. Done!

I've had this problem for three weeks and DJI support has not helped at all. After 13 emails they still had not solved this problem! Started to get very frustrated because they seemed completely ignorant about the problem. Most of the emails kept saying the same thing "update firmware"! How many times do I have update firmware! They said twice they would need to transfer this info the engineering team. Last I heard from them was four days ago. Sorry...through venting.
I finally found the solution myself here in this forum. Thanks Tommy12. I downloaded the AKP file from the link in this thread and it worked. The lights function again. Maybe DJI should check their own forum??
