as long as my crystal sky is not working with my flying Hass, my R.C. won't broke.

Same boat, same feeling. No interest to activate my M2.

No one iPad can substitute CS for me. It's the best for bright sunny days. And as we can see there are very many around, who prefer to use it and that's why they are so eager for updates in time for CS

Being your developer never seems to answer, have you considered Waterboarding?

What did you use before the Crystal Sky ?  But it is mind boggling that DJI  didn't have this working on day 1  with the M2 because it is a Freakin  DJI PRODUCT !!

Maybe Litchi Beta will bring you joy?

It is not only the brightness (which is outstanding indeed!). It is a very solid and stable system with very long battery time and the possibility to hot swap the batteries during operation if needed. I wouldn't want to use anything other in the longer term and therefore understand the disappointment of the OP, but I don't make such a drama out of it. It is just a matter of time (not too long from now is my feeling and experience) and then CS will also work with Mavic 2.
But to give you the full picture and to avoid a big and unneccessary discussion here. There are three different models of the CrystalSky: The 5.5'' and 7.85'' so called "High Brightness" versions which I believe to be identical apart from screen size and less internal memory for the 5.5'' version. And there is the 7.85'' Ultra Brightness version which seems to have had or might still have a number of problems that have been reported by users.

DJI uses a special plastic outer casing that attracts Household dust.

Since the Crystalsky hasnt been updated for nearly 4 months now is also incompatible with the Mavic 2.     . I store mine in the man cave while the warrantee ticks down. While it collects dust fantastically and I dont need to hoover.

Can also be used as a door stop. Or paper weight.

Use a phone or a tablet for sh#t sake

Its almost like they're delaying Crystal sky for the new integrated controller....Maybe with Crystal Sky 2.

I really can't believe their flagship controller product wasn't ready from day 1 of release (and beta tested months before in tandem).

There is no mobile device on the market that provides any sort of useful readability in the sun except Crystal Sky - there should be a huge market for it but the way it appears to be abandoned by DJI makes me and others very reluctant to actually spend a large sum of money on it.

Send me your 7" CS.. That will be a great upgrade from my 5".  I'll hold onto it for you.

I think someone needs a safe space to roll up in.
