I don't ever do range tests.. but since I was so impressed with the range i've been getting lately, I just wanted to see how much I can squeeze out of the Mavic 2 Pro!

That's the main reason for doing this video - it's nice to know what your drone is capable of and hopefully more people will be more relaxed now, knowing the real signal strength.

Whilst it's great to see this drone achieve such long distance flight with relative ease and no disruptions, the fact is, in most regions of the world one can never fly it that far out due to VLOS regulations.

However, what excites me more about this, is the quality of the signal, which means we should see completely rock-solid connections within VLOS ranges, or in more signal-congested areas.

This flight would've been SO STRESSFUL for me as well, kudos to you for getting thru without biting your nails off!

It would be nice to see a comparative flight in the same spot with the previous mavic. Because I constantly fly 5+ km out with my mpp to do survailance on the farm without a problem

yea, i managed 2.5 miles on my spark as well  and i just did 2.5 miles in a wifi congested area withmy brand new mavic air... last half mile was horribly skippy but still...
