It is now well established that the Mavic 2 Pro does not correct the strong lens distortion of the Mavic 2 Pro when shooting in log. They announced in the forum that the mavic 2 doesn't have enough power to correct this and that therefore, there will be no fix for it.
Why the "iconic image quality" from the Hasselblad lens even has that much of a distortion, we will not know.
Why the Mavic 2 "Pro" doesn't have enough power to correct it, we will not know.
Why the "direct to TV" HDR mode exists, we will not know.

So, the footage needs to be fixed in post-production. That means extra steps when loading footage for post-production (and a bit of extra power needed during playback and rendering), and at least measurable decrease of quality because the image needs to be stretched and upscaled.
It also means that some need to buy extra software to do this. People that use DaVince Resolve for example. They need to upgrade the very capable software just to FIX what the Mavic can not.

Given that this is the situation, my suggestion is very simple:
Please DJI, create a plugin (OFX) that corrects the lens distortion with one click.
After all, you know exactly how your lens behaves and can create the best profile. Create a plugin that just corrects the footage. No slider, no options. Just the equivalent of what the Mavic 2 should be able to do onboard.
