Any problem with that and the app´s?

Thank you for reaching DJI Forum. What kind of mobile device and DJI Go 4 app version you are using? I read some post saying that they don't have any issues using ios 12. Do you have specific concern or issues using the APP?

I'm updating now... Fingers crossed!

Flew a Phantom v2 with it today. No issues.

I've flown my M2P. MP, MA and P4P all with iOS 12 on an ipad mini 4. Absolutely zero issues.

iOS is faster in networks and video transfer faster a little bit. With my P3S no issues at all.

Wonder if we will see a lucky 13?

iOS 12 is much better than I expected but because of  the quick succession of fixes after iOS 11 released I was not feeling very optimistic. Despite a record number of beta releases, iOS 11 at release time, was really a crappy rush job. It's clear that Apple was pushing the wagon ahead of the horse when iPhone X was to be released at the same time. Not so with the 12th generation.

However, Apple and DJI still has not fixed the screen orientation issue in the Native Screen Recorder. All my DJI GO app screen recordings of Camera View are tilted 90 degrees regardless of the orientation of the handset. Any comments on this, forum mods?

You won't get any useful comments from the moderators because they are not technical at all. And given the screen recorder is an Apple product, ask them instead.

Which device are you using, I have iPhone 6s plus & iPad Pro running iOS 12 and latest DJI Go 4. Screen recorder records in the 16:9 aspect which is the normal view.

When playing back I see the screen record in 16:9 aspect whether or not the device is held in landscape or portrait mode.

I'm using iPhone 6S plus, iOS 12 and the most recent release of the iOS  DJI GO.

Ok. This is not an aspect ratio issue. Only when the phone is held in landscape when the native screen recorder is started the "Camera View" page will be properly displayed in the recording. Under the same condition, the "Root Page" of the app will be tilted 90 degrees in the recording. The reverse happens when the phone is held in portrait when you start recording; the "Root Page" will be correctly recorded and the "Camera View" page will be tilted 90 degrees in playback.  
Tried recording the screens of other apps in the same way and the recorded video properly displays in either portrait or landscape mode. This issue only happens when recording the screen of the DJI GO app.

If my Runcam was working I'd post a video to YT that will illustrate this issue. The battery must have flat-lined from sitting unused for 2 years. Maybe later tonight I hope.

That's more or less what I see when holding phone or tablet in upright position. But when I physically rotate phone or ipad ninety degrees so that I'm viewing them in 'landscape mode(how they would sit in RC clamp) then the image displays on full screen asyou would expect. I'm away from home at present so can't provide images to show this.

Swipe from bottom up on iPhone to display 'control panel' click on 'Portrait Orientation Lock' (padlock with arrow round it) to switch it on. Then try playing back screen record video file.

Nice try, but you are just "locking" the portrait orientation mode.
I made another video of the issue. You will see here that screen recordings of the GO app's "root page" does not have the issue yet the screen recording of the "Camera View" page does.

Edit: Your suggestion to toggle "lock portrait mode" in the control panel works but only when playing the screen recordings on the local device ie; the iPhone. When I upload the recordings to my pc they still give me a sore neck when I view them. Same for YouTube uploads. Made a bunch of screen recordings of the GO app Camera View when iOS 11 was released and I don't remember them giving me a sore neck. I should have never upgraded to iOS 12. In fact, the only reason I upgraded to iOS11 was for the screen recorder. Now I will have to install a third-party screen recorder app.

Screen record is not something I've used much, which is why I wasn't aware of this. I would have thought that they can tweak screen recorder to set correct parameters for playback. If it worked in iOS 11 have you a cloud or computer back up you could resort to using ?
