Couloir Poubelle - Aiguille du Midi (10th May 2015). Minimal GPS lock and near to old cables and a wall of rocks. Piloting from above and in front of the drone. Occasional wind. Flying was difficult to say the least!
We used the drone initially to check out the face and see where the exposed rocks were. This helped the skiers to pick their lines.

Very nice vid!  Lovely and stable.  Those cables must have been difficult to see and avoid.

Thanks Yes, it was easy enough to avoid them with GPS lock but when it switched to ATTI mode I had trouble. It was also hard when I lost visual and had to rely on just FPV. I planned to pilot from a different spot where I could see the entire line, but in the end the cables spooked me so I wanted to be directly in front of the action

Held my attention.  I can appreciate the concentration needed to capture such great shots.
