How did you get 4K video from a Spark when it does not have that capability?

Hi, i quite dont like the colors that you picked for the video, and those tranzitions with them colors again are off. Thats from my side of view. Other then that the clip is very nice. take care.  

About 4k... is this even 1080p?

not my video but im sure the owner rendered it from 1080 to 4k ..in video editor

If you were able to follow this tutorial and understand what was being done you probably didn't need it to begin with.

Except that there is an assumption that the footage is "true" 4k which it is not. This process is taking the 1080p footage and by using a method called  motion-compensated frame interpolation to fill in. You originally have 1 pixel which is now copied to 4 pixels.  The method is  looking forward and backward in frames and making a good guess as to what levels of luminescence and chrominance should be in the missing pixel. This is also how modern video codecs work using predictive frames.

It will look better then 1080p footage but t’s never going to be as good as ‘real’ 4K there is no quality improvement happening. It is like pouring a 1 liter bowl of water into a 4 liter bowl. You still only have 1 liter of water. You will have your 1080p footage with a 4k resolution.
