I used it for a couple of minutes yesterday evening on the iPhone X, but did not notice anything wrong.

thank you for your reply i just test it again early evening i haven't had that issue again, i think its because of the direct sunlight hitting my mobile phone which cause it to get warmer than usual,
My theory is that the sunlight makes my phone hotter and the processor can’t work in high heat so it makes display dim on its own & cause the video to lag. and i think the new update consume more processing power of the phone

so old farts like me can see it easily......   

You can’t use the iPhones or iPad in direct hot sunlight, they overheat.
