Hi,

After i have upadted my IOS to v12 and my DJI 4 Go App to v4.3.2 i have Problems to import any h265 to my Ipad Pro for preparing on LumaFusion.
At first I don´t know if that problem was caused by the IOS or by the APP upadte.
But now i also noticed that if i do a 180° Pano, i donßt have the source pictrues with the higher solution anymore....

I hope DJI will fix this soon with a new update ..or maybe with the new FW-Upadte 1.2 ???

Regards Ben

Full desktops have problems dealing with h265 files. Why are you guys even attempting this with a tablet??

Some apple mobile devices supports h265 files. Like the combination iPad Pro (2.gen) and LumaFusion can handle good such videos. A workaround with a sd reader like PhotoFast 4K iReader works.....still hoping a update will fix a faster workflow again ;)

The 10.5 iPad Pro works fine with 4K h.265. The only issue is importing files on it. The rendering time is  more or less one second for every second of video so I think it is quite fast.

Since the latest iOS update, i can’t  transfer ANY 4K videos. Only lower resolutions. Also can’t even view dog or raw files. I think it’s Apple

Are you actually managing to import files on to it - if so, how?

Just FYI... over on the LumaFusion boards

Hello m2p,

H.265 is supported in LumaFusion. But 10Bit is not supported on iOS devices, as a result, LumaFusion doesn't support it.
10bit clips get flagged as incompatible.

As for your iPad Air 2, H.265 may show a warning sign as well (even if it were 8-Bit) due to this codec not being fully compatible with your device. At 8-Bit, you would be able to export, but you might still experience playback issues.

Best,

You can import h.265 on IPad using ITunes. Just connect your device to your laptop and go to share documents. Drag and drop your files here and after import them from lumafusion interface.

Thanks
I saw the alert on lumafusion but I haven't issues since now.
Sorry for the OT but do you know if we can hope to find lens distortion correction in near future?

Thanks

it used to work with the SD card adapter prior to IOS12 official. I had it working on many of the betas. I got the warning messages, but import still worked. Funny, my iphone x allows the import still. its messing with my work flow.

Another method is to use iDealshare VideoGo to convert H.265 to iTunes more supported MP4 or MOV
