Hi,

I have set the RTH altitude on my drone to 80M. In case I will be flying at 90m and the RTH kicks in, will the altitude remain at 90m or the MA will go down to 80m?

I am asking because yesterday I was flying the drone above a cliff 100 high, and was concerned what would happen if RTH kicked in.

Altitude will remain at 90 meters.

good to knon thanks. So the altitude configure in the remote is the minimum altitude.

Thats correct if your current flying  altitude is above the set rth altitude it will hold its current altitude unless it encounters an obstical in which case the drone will try and gain altitude to avoid the object.
If your current altitude is below that set by rth then when rth is initiated the drone will raise to the set altitude then start on its rth path.

If I was flying over a cliff 100m high I would set the RTH altitude to 120m.

At 90m RTH altitude the point of impact would be 10m below the top of the cliff and the bits could be difficult to recover

The RTH height, as all heights shown on display are relative to take off point.

If it's higher than the preset RTH won't it descend to the preset?

If it's above the set RTH height then it will not descend. The pre-set RTH height is a minimum height for returning to home.
