Purchased used goggles and cannot connect to assistant app

I purchased theDJI Goggles used from another board.  I want to set them up and connect them to my Mavic 2 pro.  I downloaded DJI assistant vers. 2.0 (Mac version).  When I plug them into my computer, the app does not “see” the goggles.  I used the same cable and plugged in my controller and the app does see it.

The goggles do power on and I chose the reset option and tried about every combination of plugging in this and powering on that in every combination but no joy.  Anyone have any ideas?  Thanks

I got it to work by using assistant version 1.2.4. Version 2.0 did not work

good to know thanks for that. I am contemplating getting the googles however I have never  liked not being able to see my surroundings :/

Hello, I have the same problem except that the Assistand does see the Goggles, I have updated the firmware but when I try to connect the Goggles do not show the "Mavic 2" Option. Can anyone help?
