In the flight log part of the DJI GO 4 app I understand pretty much everything except what I'm pointing to in the attached pic. Can someone let me know what this vertical indicator means?

It's showing the vertical position (the tilt) of the gimbal.

Ah! Perfect, thank you! That crossed my mind, but the bubble goes from blue to red and I thought that meant something bad! Red means the gimbal is point down!

Yeah - on a 120 degree tilt depending on the drone you are flying typically -90 to +30
