I don't care for hard case either. Kind of missing the point with size of the drone. This right here holds my mp1, the controller, set of props, all nd filters, and 2 batteries



If you have a big case, might as well buy the p4pv2. Plan to have something similar for the mp2

Thanks for posting this. I've been wondering about the inside - none of the store images show it. I like the harder foam like this and was disappointed that the box it came in did not have it. On the Mavic Pro, there was a nice foam piece that I used inside of a hard case. But on the Mavic 2, it's just pressed board not suitable for re-use. I guess it's more environmentally friendly. Do you have to take the sticks off the controller? And is there only space for 3 batteries? What are all the other slots for?

What is #4 on the diagram?

I was looking at that.  It is nice to keep things organized.  I may go to one of my local Microcenters and get a similar case, with the customizable sponging.

Number four on the drawing looks like the Mavic 2 battery to 2 x USB adaptor block otherwise known as the Power Bank Adaptor.

This lives under a removable piece of padding under the drone itself along with the car charger.

The beauty of the DJI case is it can take the standard controller or by simply removing two blocks of foam the Smart Comtroller both with joysticks still fitted.

Just received my 2 Pro package last night, but I'm not convinced the controller will fit in that fly more combo bag! Would anyone please suggest a compact hard case which will accommodate the 2 Pro and the Smart Controller?

We love ours, it is a very nice professional solution.

And yes we can confirm the Smart Controller does fit in no problem at all.

There is a piece of foam insert which is removable that allows the smart controller to sit in the same location as the standard controller section of the case.

Here’s the pictures of our smart controller in the case.

There it is! Congrats again mate! It's an awesome drone. The DJI case the OP has shown fits the SC too and looks ideal if you want a hard case to hold the AC and SC.

Thank you gentlemen for confirming the SC will fit in the DJI hard case. I've just taken it for a brief maiden flight and I'm very impressed with the improvements over my trusty Platinum! Looking forward to exploring it further tomorrow!
