Just curious, but why waterproof? If it falls in a lake/ocean, being waterproof is kinda useless, since chances of retrieval will be minimal. I understand if it falls in a shallow body of water, but how often does that happen that you need it to be waterproof? Is it for flying in the rain? I would think that even being waterproof, you wouldn't want to do that anyway because of the effects of the weight of water on the craft's ability to fly normally. So I just don't see the point. It would obviously be more expensive to make it waterproof, and I don't think enough consumers would want to pay extra for that feature. Am I missing something? |
