Hello, Guys!


I'm a proud new owner of a Mavic Air.
Bought it from a guy who has used it for only 2-3 months.
When I got it and took it outta the box, it looks super new.
I got the flame red version.


I'm coming from a Spark and I've been hearing about this FCC and CE mode.
Can that be manually switched?
Does it have something to do with the 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz network?


Also, how do I reset the drone?
I know with the Spark, I set up a SSID and Password for the drone.
How do I do that with the Mavic Air?

Congratulations with your new drone! For the FCC and CE mode, users cannot switch between FCC and CE manually. The remote controller will enable FCC or CE mode based on your location in accordance with local laws and regulations. To reset the WiFi ssid and password of Mavic air, kindly refer on the attachment below.

It was the maiden flight of my Mavic Air earlier.

Do dark clouds cause interference with the drone?

It was rain clouds but it didn't rain yet.

why  would you think the clouds would cause any interference? how was the drone behaving?

Static in the clouds. It was about to rain as well.

Could that have caused the interference?

No, it is much more likely that you phone or other nearby electronis (smartwatch, other phones, WiFi, etc) cause interferences.

Small advice: turn your phone into flight mode when you want to fly.

However, if I disable my internet connection, how can i set my home point?

If you disable your Internet Connection, Duterte can't monitor you.

Kidding aside, it won't affect your Home point.

How is your range when flying the Mavic Air? When I flew mine last July I can barely reach 500ft before it tells me that the air is our of range.

I'm getting the same thing.

Just a little under 300 meters and I get an error message.

Mostly the "A strong signal interference" detected or something like that.

Firmware is up-to-date on the MA, RC, and App.

Any ideas?
