I only one prop spinning right now - the other three just "twitch".
I suspect I damaged them by using the wrong screws when taking off the prop guards. I had stored the originals in a litle baggie and thought I could ID them by the blue paint on the threads. Nope, they all had blue paint. I'm an idiot. First time trying to spin them up caused a burning smell. One motor was lucky and had all of the short screws.

Anyway, I'm not sure which part to buy or from where. I see I can replace all four whole ESC, Motor and Props at one go in the official store but I'm pretty sure I only need the motors plus I don't know which part is for the Phantom 2. Internet search suggest I need Parts 5 and 6 or maybe parts 11/12. Any shopping/buying tips are appreciated. Any tips on installation would be appreciated too. I haven't used a soldering iron in years.

Thanks in advance!

It would be best to replace all of your motors with these:

CW: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product ... Id=KBYHWYXFP6VKZJWN
CCW: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product ... Id=7TQSYNJXRMT2WMCF

And, then also upgrade your ESCs to these:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product ... Id=D4CWCQOR3KI6IRAK

Part 5 & 6 are an older style of motor. If that's what you have right now though, then you could just swap your three bad motors with those.

There are lots of videos on YouTube that show how to solder. Check out the following search:

Thanks Mike! I can't tell which motors were in there before but I'd rather just replace all four so they're all the same. It is interesting to see what happened. Apparently the extra long screws pushed the plastic cover over the screw holes up into the wires. The plastic caps melted which is probably what I smelled after powering down (See the attached photo below). The ESC is V2.1 (also in picture) so I guess I have a new enough version.

From the looks of your wires I would suspect that those ore the 2312 motors with version 2.1 ESC your props are most likely 9450's.  The large re wires on the older models are 2212's. Give us a photo of the top of the motor so we can se the windings and we can tell for sure.

I thought they stop the CW and CCW motors and control it using the ESC and the way they are wired to the ESC.

Thanks Mike! I can't tell which motors were in there before but I'd rather just replace all four s ...

If you are doing motors, you might as well do ESC's as well. If the motors were under stress, the ESC's were probably getting hot. New motors and ESC's will come with the correct screws. Looking at the ESC's, there are 6 FET's, small rectangular black shiny electronics components. When they burn out, they are completly destroyed as indicated in the picture. If they are overheated, they will be dull looking.

Clearly I have found a collection of experts!
Here's one of the motors from the top:

Do the FETS look OK?

Thanks again!
