Hi guys, i was flying today for a Job and everything went fine except for that, when i finished i coud not put it on travel mode to put it back on the original case.
Any ideas of how to fix this?
Latest of the latest firmware on Inspire 2 and Cendence Radio. I try everithing, 6 short press, 7 short press, and also from the menu on dji go 4 app, nothing works.
What is weird is that when i press 6 or 7 times (as i always did for going from travel to landing and from landing to travel mode) instead of the bird goning to travel modes it just turn
on, i do not know why.

For me it is only 5 presses not more

I find the transformation performs more effectively when the Inspire is on a darker surface.

Hi. We apologize for the inconvenience. Did you try to manually exit it in a travel mode? If not, please follow this:

1. Trigger Travel Mode in the DJI GO app.
2. Press the Power Button five times.
3. Use screw driver to rotate the screw rod under special situation.

Thanks to all, about darker surface i do not think it will make any difference, also it was working perfect until i upgrade to the last firmware, i think is another bug, because the bird turns ON when i try to put in travel mode and before did not.

Hi, i did try
- Manually pressing 4, 5, 6 and 7 times and nothing
- Also with the Go 4 app, nothing it freeze when i press go to travel mode and the bird does a few beeps but does nothing.
- I do not want to use screw driver, i should not need it ! i do not want to force the servo every time.

2 Weird things, first one is that i notice inside left upwords sensor a smooth red light on inside, second one is tha every time i try to change to travel mode (with the drone off) pressing 5 times manually the drone turns ON, before when it was working fine the drone went to travel mode and goes off.

Hi. Thank you for the response. Please spin the slotted screwdriver which locates underneath the drone with a screwdriver to check if the steer got stuck, please let us know if this helps.

Hi again, but is not stuck because if i take off the landing gear moves perfec up and down. Only problem is when is on the floor that i can not get in to Travel Mode so i can not put it on the original case. i rememvered back with the Inspire 1 use to have the same problem untill they fix it with firmware.

Yep, fresh installed 01.02.0200 on bird and latest one on Cendence too.

I see. Can you please try to revert back to the old firmware which is V01.02.0100? Since the latest firmware of the Inspire 2 has an issue that is currently fixing by our engineers. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Yes but please let me know how ! because the last time i try that i took me 2 days to get everything working. Do i have to revert back the radios too? or just with the inspire is ok?

It just only for the aircraft. You may downgrade it using DJI Assistant 2.

I'm not sure what it indicates, but do you hear a soft click sound from the LG servo when you do the Travel Mode command ? I had the same problem as you, I could hear the click but no response from servo. Eventually I went into travel mode with the screw driver,but still had problem. Although there was no resistance I did add a touch of white lithium grease to the shaft in case it helped. Finally, I put it in Travel Mode and shut down, then restarted while connected to Assistant 2 and refreshed firmware and restored factory defaults. HERE IS THE STRANGE BIT OF DATA: If I remember correctly, this problem only occurred after I switched from using the Android GO APP to then IOS version of Go APP, and since i did the factory reset and went back to Android, I have not had any problem. The servo seems in good health so my guess is that either there is a glitch in the software that tells the LG servo to stop when by mis-reporting  excess current caused by too much resistance, or there is a glitch that locks the LG because it is mis-reporting the presence of the gimbal. Good luck.

I am doing it now will see how it goes, hopefully good because i have to work tomorrow in a movie.
Also i notice that the landing gear is not in the right position, is a little bit lower than normal in landing mode.

I'm sorry but what do you mean it's not responding? Can you please provide a video footage showing the problem? You may upload it through Dropbox or youtube and provide us the link.

Mine broke, the part fell off and stopped working in May this year. 3 weeks at DJI holland and then I got my drone back. It might be a bad batch of drones or it a general week point. See if the white plastic pease is still there.

I would check the servo condition its an easy one, sometimes it’s starts with failures like not entering travel mode it’s has electronics components inside that starts to fail,, then ended up not working anymore,

I've had problems with my landing gear as well but I tried cleaning and greasing the worm drive followed by giving the landing gear some exercise on the bench and so far it's behaved itself since. I almost sent it back to DJI but as it's working fine at the moment that seems a waste of time. The problem you have with it not coming out of or going in to landing mode is related to the most recent firmware. I had that problem on every job with the latest firmware but it's been fine since downgrading to the previous version.
Did you try turning the manual adjuster screw on the bottom? When mine was playing up I found that just a small turn on that screw would fire the gear back in to life.

That is where your problem is. Jump back to 100 using assistant 2 and all will be well.  The 200 really messes with the landing gear and a few other things.

Just the Inspire. Do not mess with your Cendence. Just check your settings after.

Try cycling it manually with a screwdriver and the worm gear.

Hi, thanks for reply. Yep, white part is there, it just the servo that burns out and i am sure it was because DJI firmware upgrade fail !! but of course the are NOT going to accept that but they shoud send me a servo for free at list !

Did not work for me because it gets stock !

Did you have the camera still attached? I'm pretty sure the I2 will not go into travel mode with the camera still attached.
