Good to see it's out, it was first spotted in the wild a couple of hours ago. There are also some flysafe database updates appearing.

Hopefully all will work well for Air owners :-)

Fingers crossed that at this Time the FW is checked twice from your Engineers.

No more ActivTrack Divebomb and other dangerous Mavic Air manoeuvres.

Well if we are beta testers for 500 we'll no doubt get a quick fix from dji

Its a shame that DJI and their developers didnt listen to us and add in the feature to allow users to use the programmable button to have the camera forward/ camera down function which is vital for safe landings! It shouldnt be that difficult ! the camera rotates down with the  either the screen swipe down or using the  jog wheel but it very slow! and instant flip down like all the other models, Mavic Pro, Mavic 2 Pro, Phantoms , and the spark all have it why not this model!  (some have been told that it because its a pro feature which is rubbish as all the other consumer drones have this function including the spark

Cant we have a.500 patch called .510 to add this feature in as it would make many happy!

Not sure of all the changes made, but there is at least one that is very useful: it's now possible to change the exposure by pressing the spare button and then using the gimball wheel to increase/decrease.

This is surely the main adjustment I keep to have to make while flying, and it's much simpler now.

Downloaded and preliminary test flight this morning. No issues downloading or with ten minute test flight. You need to reset a number of flight and control parameters in DJGo but that's it. So far I'm happy.

I just got the notification for the update earlier this afternoon.

I've updated both the controller and drone.

There were also other updates included like the geo something and the data flight something.

Sorry, I forgot the terms.

I haven't tested it yet on the new firmware.

Any improvements?

I do agree that the quick camera forward/down was useful.

I loved it on the Spark, but not having it on the MA is kinda crap.

DJI, please have this implemented in the next update.

Hi, pls clarify which spare button.
Does the function adjust exposure regardless of Manual or Auto mode?

FYI to anyone updating. I had to recalibrate my controller as there was an issue with the aircraft. When I tried to fly backwards in controller mode 2, the aircraft instead descended. This was intermittent but regular. It also became obvious when calibrating as a pull down on the right stick made both sticks indicate down. Recalibration solved the problem and all is well now.

in the afternoon make a few flights with a lot of wind 4 beaufort i had more video lags in the video transmission  on my phone but in de film self everything ok. Also in flight  obstacle avoidance that it was off in flight because of hi-speed i was in normal mode not sport-mode.
Also it looks like the drone make more noise than before.

firmware .500 and dji go 4 4.3.2 on android 8.0.0

I had had to devise a rather lugubrious procedure in order to make the connection from my phone (Huawei P9) through the RC to the aircraft. This problem seems to have disappeared, but only time will tell I guess. Keep in mind I have only flown for a short time so far.

Upgrade and fly around and everything seems fine so far.

The yaw movement seems to be fixed. Flown with 3 batteries and no yaw glitch whatsoever.

Finally got the remote FW to update.  App kept telling me it was up to date.  Went into aircraft status and it said update required.  Then it updated the remote.  Aircraft had already updated earlier so not sure what was going on.

Hmmmm...my MA still at .400 and says firmware is latest version, but I've never had any of the issues others have had on this firmware.

Is your phone/tablet connected to WiFi? If not, DJI Go4 can’t carry out the FW check

Can you pleas tell me what that means?
Is this the effect that sometimes the Gimbal moves for a micro second up and down and kills by that the smooth recording?

In the last payed project i have such a effect and some material was useless because of that.
Or did you mean that the gimbal has a self rotating effect?
In some situations my gimbal make a pan even if i did not touch anything!

Strange things, did you guys have that too?
