Odd one this. When I got my P3A it came with 3 batteries, not long after one of the batterys started have charging issues, it would only charge to 3 bars and flash indicating a fault, and when I put it into the craft it came up with a Damaged Battery warning, It's been like that for months and no matter how much I charged it, it stayed the same, so I only use that battery for bench testing.

The weird thing is, yesterday I deciced to change a few settings on the gain, yaw. So I put the bench test battery on charge while I went to cut the grass, I came in and the battery had fully charged with no battery warning, showed 100% on the craft and no Damaged Battery warning. I still wouldn't trust it in flight though.

Anybody else had the same thing happen to them ?

Is the questionable one an aftermarket?  If so, I would not fly with it.  If it was a legit DJI, I would still not fly with it.  :-)

I had an AM once that was acting weird and one day it just decided to shut itself off at 400'.  Yes, it was fully charged at launch.

The said battery is a proper DJI one, but like you said I wouldn't trust it . It's just strange how it's kicked back in to life.

Odd thing is, it’s probably safe to fly with.

Do a short flight, low and close, then check the flight LOG.

Please don't be tempted to fly with it, you will be the one to pick up the pieces and the bill, not RedHotPoker...

That’s just nonsense. Send me the said battery, & I will happily fly high and very far with it...

Come on bud, grab some positivity.

I said fly low and close. What do you want, a pillow fight? Hahaha

Crash it into a tree too. Ha

When I get the chance I try a low level flight with it, but nothing more than that.

Oh I hope it is going to be alright...

Yes, please report back your findings with the LOG from that test flight. Thanks.

I was hoping to try this weekend, but the weather looks to be against me, I'm itching to find out the results.

That’s a shame the weather won’t cooperate.

Oh well, you have something to look forward to.
