Hey Everyone,

It has been a cold, soggy September in my corner of the world. Transitions between seasons are really quick here too, or, in some cases, the change seemingly happens overnight. I waited as long as I could for better weather before finally sucking it up and getting out to the mountains to grab some shots. It was cold but definitely worth it.

And, it gave me the chance to give my Polar Pro ND filters a thorough test too.

Great video, I love how you record the take-off. Calgary is always chilly, but, How are the filters?

Another good video, and with the usual excellent look to it. I, too, would like to know how you found the filters.

Same weather here in Saskatchewan. Since most of our weather comes from Alberta, I blame you guys.

Thanks! I have had the filters since August and only got to try them once until that day. I still haven't rendered a verdict yet. So far I do like them but, as expected, they do require more effort. I also didn't realize until that day that ISO only moves in full stops (100, 200, 400, etc) not one third stops (100, 125, 160, etc). That's a big pain in the butt when trying to maintain proper exposure with a specific shutter speed. Funny how I never touched ISO until then.

Thanks! That was only my second time using the filters. I like them but still need to do more testing. They do up the effort though, which wasn't unexpected.

September was terrible and now October starts off with 20cm of snow. Brutal. You can blame Alberta. I blame Alberta too. I'm originally from BC. :-)

It does become annoying, the ISO is always a bit too high or low, I wish there was an option in the middle. thanks
