When flying RTH what height setting do most use?

At least 25% higher than highest obstacle you are likely to fly over. The other day it was not obvious how high a hill to fly over was. I thought at most 30 meters. Set it to 50 meters to be sure.

Yes I use 50 meters too. Seems to be a good height in my area.

I use 45 meters which equates to roughly 150 feet.

Many trees in my area are over 100 feet tall.

Really depends on location - I have it set to 30m, though first flight in a new location I'll verify roughly during takeoff to my surroundings and where I plan to fly to and adjust if need be.

Find the tallest obstacle above the takeoff point at your current location and add 50 feet (to account for any error). Do this each time before taking off in a new location.

FWIW, you really shouldn't copy someone else's setting. That could result in the loss of your drone.

After using the factory preset of 30m RTH on a Mi Drone 4k and crashing into a tree that was a little over 30m, I always set a minimum of 50m RTH hight!

50m on every DJI craft I have flown. I don't fly round towns etc and I would love to see a 50m tree......Safe as houses. Saying that, the area where you are flying at the time should dictate a safe height to RTH if required.
