Monarch Butterfly Migration

Monarch Butterfly Migration

UPDATED 3 HOURS AGO
Monarch butterflies are heading to San Antonio in a year that could claim the largest migration in a decade.
Based on robust activity in the monarchs’ primary Midwestern breeding grounds, Monarch Watch founder and expert Chip Taylor predicted “the migration should be the strongest since 2008.”

Hi, Sorry to know that you did not chance to fly aircraft. Hopefully, you'll have a chance to fly your drone in that location without any interference. Thank you for sharing your story here.

Yes seriously, some people care about the world and it’s creatures.  Especially pollinators that help to keep you alive. They’re an endangered species.  Try not to be a shiv.

My maaaaaaan! Let them migrate freely. Butterflies are one of the most important pollinators on earth. But I cant stop imagine an aerial pic or vid of this migration it must be gorgeous!!!!!!

It was not this drastic but this is a picture from earlier in the year.  I can't believe I did not think of grabbing some shots.

Here is a vid.

Your car will kill more than what the drone would do. Simple, don’t fly where there at. I am pretty sure your whole city isn’t covered in butterflies.

Good on you M8. I salute everyone that saves anything that is smaller than a sharpened pencil point, and larger than a blue whale. Hats off.
