Anyone tried attaching a small payload to the P3P?  I was thinking it would be fun to bring friends small items (a note, or piece of small candy) attached with a string or somethign easily removed.

Why do it? Isn't texting impersonal enough, already?

I believe in the distant future children will be born with a large thumb on each hand.
It will be there just for texting and surfing the web... ;-)

I can see the excitement in your words that you want to share your Phantom 3 with all of your friends.
Perhaps with several of your closest acquaintances as well. Things could go wrong, and you would be at fault.
Better to have a potluck dinner or barbecue, invite every person you love, to come over. And share your new found joy, up close and personal.
Please Leave the drone delivery services to the professional commerce companies like Amazon and Boston Pizza.
At least, they will have plenty of liability insurance. And you wouldn't be the purp. who injures someone, or does neglectful, expensive property damage. At your out of pocket cost.

Hahaha, now after all that, Please send me some sweet candy. ;-@

I have my wife send me a cold Miller when I'm down mowing the lower section of my property. A quick phone call is all it takes, fastest beer delivery ever!

I think attaching a small piece of candy would be fine (think piece of gum size).....just wondering if anyone had done it before.

How far away are you considering flying this?

Will the Phantom 3 be in your LOS?

No problem with a small payload if you center it (underneath, ideally).

Up to 1/4 pound would be fine.....
