Wal-Mart's app is offering Phantom 4 high capacity batteries 5870mah  for $117.99. I stopped into Best buy and they price matched.

That's a great price.

Appears to be similar to PowerExtra Batteries.

NOT DJI Branded.

I was there 2 days ago..

I bought 2 DJI batteries
2 sets of low noise DJI props
64 GB Sandisk extreme micro card.

Entire bill was automatically discounted at 25% off.

I didn't realize the Wal-Mart ad battery wasn't genuine DJI. I apologize.

No apology needed.  Most everyone here does their research......The pricing certainly is very good!  If the batteries perform, then that would be awesome!!

It would be nice if someone who has bought aftermarket batts would comment on quality, fit, finish, flight time after a few charges.......

I have seen NO POSTS from anyone who has.......I know people are buying the knockoffs....just have never heard a review here...........

DJI had code written into the firmware which may not let a battery, not made by them, even work.

So if your counterfeit flight packs are managing the task at hand, feel fortunate.

Many others on this forum, learned the hard way, not to trust inferior cheap knockoffs...

Is that fair dinkum that a non genuine battery may not operate in a Phantom because of some sort of protection mechanism in the software  ?
