Hello everyone,

Just a concern that I would like to share and see if anyone else is having the same issue as me.
When I take a picture from my M2P camera, some objects seem to have a jiggly edges which is very annoying. I tried to change lots of camera settings but the same results.

Please see the attached picture and let me know if the camera is bad or this is the quality of image that HASLEBLAD is capable of producing?

That's aliasing -- are these pics taken from the internal memory or are they taken from your phone?

I downloaded this picture from the internal 8GB memory using the USB cable straight to my Macbook pro.

Hi, we're very sorry for the inconvenience caused. Can you please try to refresh the firmware of your  Mavic 2 Pro via DJI Assistant 2? Also, can you please try to reset the camera settings? If the issue persists, please try to reset the SD card via computer. Thank you.

Yea that’s weird and I do not get that in my pics (jpeg or raw). This looks more like a screenshot rather than a picture file.

I will try, although I'm not sure why should I reset the SD card since I'm only using the built in memory storage of the Mavic 2. Anyways, I will do the reset but please if anyone else is having the same issue, then let me know. I have used so many cameras, iPhone 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and have never seen aliasing as my friend calls it. Its so weird.

I noticed this crappy image as soon as I've downloaded it from the 8GB internal to my Mac. No screen shot was taken.

Would you mind uploading it somewhere so we/I can download the file?

Oh and confirm your settings. Should be 4 by 3 4:3. And it should be on single shot and RAW.

Maybe that's the small jpg preview that's embedded in a RAW/DNG? Some apps will only show the preview if they can't properly decode the RAW data.

Yep, what I was thinking. AND it sorta looks 16:9 with that aliasing going on.

I have taken a picture with the recommended setting after I have reset everything. 2 files, one is JPG and same file DNG please see attached through a link to my Dropbox:

The DNG has the crap stuff, but again, the JPG file is no where near the 20MP I'm expecting.

Thanks for helping.

You'll need to be at 3 x 2 to use most if not all the sensor......I don't think the M2p has a 4 x 3 setting?

The DNG looks fine to me in Photoshop -- what are you using to open DNG files? See attached 100% zoom-in.

Not sure what you mean about the JPG version -- what are you expecting to see?

No worries, thanks for telling me about the setting, it was my iMac 24" built year 2009 that was giving all that viewing trouble. My bad....
