I'm finding that my Mavic Air gimbal steps/hops when applying very light STEADY input. Wind isn't that bad when it happens.
This happens in DJI GO app as well as litchi app (using waypoints and switching point of interest with interpolation).
I find it is worse when the gimbal is facing downwards. This is most notable when I'm trying to land and so I face the gimbal downwards - it pops back up at times and so I have to hold the gimbal control down.
anybody else get this?
Hi, thank you for reaching DJI Forum. Please try to calibrate the gimbal of your mavic air, if after the calibration and the problem still persist, please try to adjust or reset the gimbal pitch settings. You may look at the attached image below for reference. Thanks for your support.

i did exactly as you said and will test it further - it seems like that helped with the stepping.
however, the hop still exists. this was just after doing the calibration and adjusting the gimbal settings.
hovering in place and aiming the gimbal down, you see this.
is this a gimbal issue ?

And what are all of your gimble settings? ... someone else with a Mavic Air might be able to try them for comparison.
