open your app and under HD check your transmission level, if the 1km line is between 90 and 100db and the 4km is 100 and 110db then you are in CE mode, the 1km must be between 80 to 90db and the 4km between 90 and 100db then you are in FCC

If you haven't 'hacked' the app, you should be in CE Mode as youz are in Switzerland. The mode is locked and the controller output also. outside EU the radio frecuency is stronger, in EU the range is limited due to that.

I've just bought a Mavic Pro 1.
I did the fake gps hack to my spark, worked perfectly. If I use the same phone to fly the Mavic, doesnt the hack go automaticly to FCC mode as the spark?

Don’t think so.
But do the force boost fcc 1.5 kw patch.
Its force fcc and it gets the output much stronger than standard fcc!!!
It can only be done on Mavic Pro 1

Fly safely

Not really, the spark uses wifi so trying to trick the mavic with a fake gps does not really work, if you are using android you can download an old version of the go4 app 4.1.15 with a mod called tss or if iphone......................to much mentioned here not a place to say how to actually mod out a app.

Hiya,

Fake GPS works also for the Spark.  As this info is stored in the drone, each time after switched on it will ask to reset the wifi region. Just cancel that.

Hi, Thanks for your inquiry. Like Suren mentioned, You can the HD settings for you to determine on which mode your drone is under. Please use the image on post #2 for your reference. Based on your location, apparently, it should be under CE laws. Thank you for the support.

oke, but why doesn`t it work for a PM1 ?
Hmm, only answer can be that the GPS module in the drone is always leading over the CE/FCC mode.

Hi Suren,

IMO Fake GPS has nothing to do with wifi. (Spark on wifi or on OTG doesn`t matter ; FakeGPS works)

In the sofware  is a CE/FCC checker, if the DroneGPS position is CE and the power output is on FCC we will see a msg to switch "wifi" region. On the MA the same.

WIth the Mavic Pro you cannot trick the gps location into thinking you are in a FCC area, i have tried numerous fake gps apps which failed, it worked on my spark byt not the mavic pro range hence i had to side load ipa files to get this to work in FCC range and it works great, the only down fall with that is that every 12 days the file needs to be resigned by apple, with Android to get FCC the only way I found is to load is config file into the app but then again it needs to be an older version of the app for it to work, IOS works on the latest app

Hi Suren,

really strange, why should DJI change this in the app only for the PM and not for all DJI drones.
Guess its a general setting in the app. But happy that they haven`t change it for the Spark and MA.

Or are they happy that people use FCC instead of CE for better reliabilty of signals....

cheers

Which devices have separate fcc and eu modes?

Mavic 2 pro?
Standard controller?
Smart controller?
1st gen goggles?
Goggles RE?

I heard someone say that the fcc/eu mode is a function of the aircraft only and all the other devices follow its lead, but I don’t know if that is true.

Thanks,

Larry
