Hey,

I was flying my P4P at my home town. The weather was good, +10 celsius and wind was 3m/s. At all times I saw my drones green and red lights flashing in the dark evening. I was taking shots from my city and as I was moving my drone slightly into new location, it just disconnected from my controller and after ~4-6 seconds I heard something splashing into water far away in otherwise silent evening. I don't know if I could hear a drone splashing to water from 850 meters away (50m height), but that's what I heard. I waited if my drone came to back to home point (as selected in the settings), also pressed the RTH -button. But never saw my drone again.

The next day I took a boat and head off to the area where I assumed it fell. In that spot there is 3m of water so I need somekind of equipment to look for it from cold waters.

I'm starting to think it short circuited in mid air, any thoughts on this?

Hi, actually I have already opened a case yesterday (1414066).

Nothing obvious went wrong.  Finding your AC would definitely help your case.
