When I use the Osmo Only ( no monitor ) the date stamp on photos and videos is always " Dec 31, 2013 "

If I use a video monitor ( e.g. iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad mini 4 ) the date stamp will be correct.

The firmware on the Osmo is current. (1.11.2.70+), and Go4 is current.

I have tried using the 'monitor' first, running a video, disconnecting the monitor, then -using only the Osmo- running another video, then taking a photo.  When I view the two videos and photo, only the video that was produced while the monitor was connected has the correct date.

How do I get the Osmo to use the current date when I'm NOT connected to a monitor?
