I thought Mavic 2 Pro sensor would detect power line.

Next time I will not count on the sensor when powerlines even i close to one centimeter thick. Still lucky as I only had to change two props. Not even a scratch on my Mavic 2 Pro.

What made you think it would?

My Mavic Air refused to come in and land on my sailing boat as there where wires from the mast.
Way thinner than the power line.

So now you know

Thank you so much. I have been a bit depressed after findings that resolution Mavic 2 Pro Hasselblad is not better then Mavic air due to risk for over heating.

Still I think footage came out pretty good (and I did not film in any professional mode. Just did som color processing with a lut Lumafusion  on min Ipad.)

thank you. I am happy to be able to make ok videos with my Mavic Air and Mavic 2 Pro. As it is so easy to bring on trips.

I would like DJI to come out with a Phantom 5 with foldable legs to be able to travel with smaller package and also with doing line skipping or what ever they do .

Would love to have same quality as my Sony RX100 or RX10 mk 4.

Retractable ending gear is amazing on the Inspire - would love to see that on the next Phantom.

Yes I have that on my old Inspire 1. Still take som time to setup as I need to connect camera.
But for professional work the Inspire is great. I wonder if DJI has an Inspire 3 in pipeline.

I guess DJI earns so much on Mavic Air and Mavic 2 now . Perhaps they will be like Apple giving us Mac users less love as they sell more/make more profit iPhones and iPads.

Oh I'm very sure we will see an I3 soon enough Bought my I1V2 earlier this year - it's awesome - even for recreational use.

Wow,
You were so lucky.
That bird was close to the water.....

I personally always disable object avoidance on my MP1, since it tends to make the flight more stable.
PS, I really like the footage.
These locks look like the ones on the Dalslands canal.
There are so many beautiful places in Sweden!

Tack så mycket!

I am talking about the resolution. Otherwise, dynamic range, low light etc etc  is better. And also - Good resolution when taking pictures or doing Hyperlapse with Raw.  when taking pictures.
Look at this video about the resolution "scandal"- if you don't watch this video then there is something wrong with you.

Also I need to turn of the avoidance system when trying to land on my moving sailboat.
My Air was down at 1% when I got it. I was close a few times and then it stopped as the Air detected the wires from the mast. I need to practise to turn it of when I am not in a stressful situation

I agree... Between the Mp1 and MA the M2P is a massive improvement in quality. Granted I do mostly photos too not video.

I lost my Mavic Air which had an incredible sharp gorgeous picture quality and I was interested in the M2P, but with all the negative videos that came out I was apprehensive on buying it. Then I said the heck with it I'm going to get one and if I don't like it I will just return it and replace my MA. After a few days of flying my M2P I fell completely in love with it and ignored all of those videos. The PQ on the M2P is better than the MA not just in sharpness and resolution but in colors, night photography and dynamic range. Now I have 2 MA batteries and a RC that I'm to sell because I don't need any other drone than the M2P.

Far too many people watch vloggers on YouTube who like to sensationalise the slight issue/problem so that they can get extra views and in so doing make extra money from viewers.

I love my M2P, I still have my Mavic Pro and Spark. My Mavic Pro is still an amazing drone, but it does not compare to the M2P.

I agree with you. I just wanted to have the full potential of the 1 inch sensor and better resolution to be able cropping the videos.

I will keep my Air as it it still more pocketable than the M2P. So at times when I travel I will use my Air.
But I am not sure.

In general I don't trust the avoidance system.
Mainly because it gets fooled soon on certain surfaces.
You need to pay very close attention to the drone of course....

This video is a joke, posted many times.

What is this guy proving anyway? He is practically comparing a DIGITALY SHARPEN sequence of images.

I don't agree with you. Resolution is important if you want to crop or do post stabilisation etc etc.

If they video would be a "joke" then of course DJI would respond.
So i have less faith in your comments then the video and I also have both Air and M2P. The video we are talking about says clearly the reason is pure speculation, but result of resolution speaks for it self.
You more sound like an DJI employee instead of finding out how it is really is.
Lots of users claims that the P4V2 Smokes the M2P resolution when it comes to video.

There are many things I like/love about my M2P. Still I expect more to see it as a pro-tool

Please show me others videos that do pixel peeping on resolution.
