DJI Natalia - Just completed the update to Oreo 8.0 on  the Samsung Galaxy 8 plus.  Update successful and successfully connected to the Mavic Pro via the latest firmware update of the DJI Go4 app [cable from RC to Galaxy 8 plus].

James have you given Oreo a try yet with DJI Go 4 on S8, I downloaded the update from Verizon but I am reluctant to install it and I deleted the cache partition so it doesnt automatically install it.  I am using the Mavic Pro 2 just wanted some feedback before I make the attempt.

I'm happy to report that yes, the latest version of Android Oreo is compatible with the latest version of the DJI Go app. All updates on my Galaxy 8+ have been implemented with not adverse effects to using the DJI Go app to fly the Mavic Pro.

All updates on my Galaxy 8+ have been implemented with not adverse effects to using the DJI Go 4 app to fly the Mavic Pro. My connection is from the USB port on the RC, to the cell phone "C" connection.  Ensure you do not have a cable connected to the charging port on the left side of the RC, while your connected to the USB, otherwise you will get a "Disconnected" message on the RC (dji go 4 APP).
