Huawei is actually pronounced WowWay..
This is the Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 10

Important: The first time you use the app you have to tell the tablet to use this RC with this Device.

In other words, make sure the USB cable is plugged in to the Huawei, when you turn the RC on, it will ask you to [check] use this USB device with this App? Check it. This will tell the Huawei to open the DJi4go app automatically when the RC is turned on.

1-Turn on RC
2 -Restart Huawei Tablet
3 -Go to your Home page
4 -When prompted to "Allow Access to Device Data" say yes
5 -Let Huawei do the rest



It's that simply

This should work for any Android based device

Yes it is, with many unnecessary apps remove.

I also strongly suggest dedicating your mobile device to DJi, not using a lot of apps, which will put undo stress on the processor.

Note: If your are presently using an Android Device and you can't get it to connect like this, you'll need to turn on USB Debugging to link the RC and the App

Your Welcome Guys, Just wanted to get this to the top one more time because everybody says Android based Devices don't work well with DJi 4Go.

My s7 edge works flawlessly on both drones but the s2 tablet only works with my p4p once i change the usb mode once i get it connected it works fine.

I just ordered the Huawei MediaPad M5 8.4" on the advice of several users here. I haven't received it yet but I will be sure to update once I do.

Cant seem to get the remote to pair with the aircraft. Can anyone help?

The drone and controller should already be linked.
If you mean the tablet, you have to enable developer options.

If you really mean the controller, do a word search in the manual for LINK.

Make sure the tablet is plugged into the RC and both are turned on.  In the developers options choose >USB then MTP (not midi)

Thanks Lab, i did follow all of the instructions posted in other threads of how to configure the tablet before use. First flight today was brief but it went off without a hitch. Looking forward to getting some usable data I can render a 3d model from. You use drone deploy correct?

DroneDeploy is very good for mapping etc.
I use it for all my mapping work.

I recently purchased a used Huawei Mediapad M3 (not the Lite-version) 8.4-inch. It works perfect with Go4, and I like the size of the tablet. I tried a 10-inch, but it was too large for my liking, and the RC became a bit unbalanced. The M3 has a very high resolution screen (2560x1600), but even if it is one of the brightest it is still hard to use in strong sunlight without a shade. It is usable, but my P4A+ with built-in screen on the controller is in a different league - I think it is more than twice as bright, 1000 nits compared to 400-450 for tablets.

I recently purchased a used Huawei Mediapad M3 8.4" too.  I had to turn on Developer Options and USB debugging for the RC to not display 'Remote controller connection error'.
