Hi,

I've recently taken a few shots with my Mavic 2 Pro and noticed on the last 2 flights that there is a purple shade/line at the bottom of my photos. Any ideas what is causing this?

I'm hoping I do not have to take it back?

It looks like the same shot so it could be just the tint/lighting of the trees along the bottom. Need to shoot a few different pics just to see.

Yes, you need to take different lightning pictures on the same flight and then compare them.

Fly safely and enjoy all

Different lighting and different time of days and then compare.

Hi Krimz88, sorry for the troubles during the shooting, basically I agree with the posts above, please take different lightning pictures to see if the issue persists in every picture, if yes, please upload several original photos to the Dropbox or Google Drive and post the link here for further analysis, thank you.
Please reply to my post directly so that I can get the notification and keeps following up, thanks.

Its called ''abused photo in post''

...but seriously, If you're pulling shadows so much you will see purple color cast.
Bottom part of youre image was 100% underexposed and when you crank the shadows and exposition in post up you will see all sorts of ugliness.

It would be good to see original image and shots from other scenarios too

Cheers

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. I think this is likely to be the case as I definitely cranked the shadows in post .

I'll send a dropbox with the originals when I'm back home

Try a bracketed exposure, 3 or 5 shots. Sometimes one comes out pretty nicely

I do not understand what 'cranking the shadows' is. I assumed that it was something that was done in post graphic manipulation of the image
