Has anyone had a new drone replaced without scratches on the gimbal? Also someone was lucky to have never had this type of scratches? Thank you

So it is possible that many drones are without scratches! I'm replacing one, but the worry is so great!

Mine has no scratches at all. So all still fine there.

Mine had no scratches when I got it, however I made a tiny one when I got desperate trying to put on the gimbal cover.
I must say replacing a Drone over a scratch is not worth it, you could even end up with an actual faulty drone. (Unless ofc theres some heavy scratches, but I've seen people complain here over a tiny scratch)

they are scratches, small but real! I have already ascertained the problem and already made arrangements with DJI support, my fear is to be able to receive another scratched device

If there's no other issues with ur current m2p  then enjoy/keep it; don't exchange/return.  Mine also have minor scratched too.

it makes me angry that there are specimens without scratches !!! My money was "scratch-free" for them !!! and I demand the same treatment! I hope that everything will be alright! Tomorrow I send my ..

I agree, I don’t look for minor blemishes or scratches,I’m more concerned about flight performance and image quality.

Mine came with no scratches and I looked it over real good with a flashlight and a microscope ok I'm kidding about the Microscope ,and it still doesn't have any after several flights but I did add some clear tape on the back of the Gimbal  and I also put some clear packing tape on the inside of the cover . We need a third party rubber Gimbal cover .

I have already taken the cover of Sunnylife gimbal seen here posted by a user, it seems really simple, functional and without that annoying mechanism of jib of DJI. But it arrives in 2-3 weeks unfortunately! in the meantime, just cover the gimbal but wrap the gimbal simply in a nice scratch-resistant cloth during transport!

I guess that everyone had a certain criteria when purchasing their M2.  My criteria was 1.: so that I can use my DJI Goggles RE (which isn't functioning correctly), and 2.: the image quality of the P4Pro, in a smaller form factor (which doesn't seem to be the case).

I guess other peoples criteria was to receive a scratch free drone.  God knows how they'll keep it scratch free, unless they aren't planning on flying it.

you are free to give importance to what you believe in! If you wanted the Ph4 cam you took the Ph4, simple! I want a scratch-free drone!

I think it's inevitable to get the gimbal scratched if you use the stock cover. I take great care when removing it and putting it back on, but it still has some scratches on the top after a month of use. I don't know how you people do it and keep it scratch free, but it would be really helpfull to educate some of us.

I will not put the original gimbal anymore, but I will install the one posted here, which does not have that annoying semovable tongue

I replaced mine because of the OOF issue... replacement came without scratches.
BTW, noise you had on 1st Mavic is present on both units I had...I think its normal

I'm glad you came without scratches, I also hope mine is coming ... crossing my fingers

arrived today the second mavic 2 pro replaced .... a disaster, DJI DISASTER !!

two out of two drones with scratches .... I think at this point that users who say they do not have anybody are lying

While I agree that DJIs customer service is not the best, this is just hysterical.

I get that people have different wants and needs but this is just silliness, you’re literally worrying and stressing about minor surface scratches that in no way shape or form affect the way the drone flies or performs.

You’re putting form over function, which is not wise.

If  you want your drone to be forever scratch free,  put it in a display case and just stare at it.

I don’t know man, I get it that these things are expensive but it’s really a petty and almost OCD of you to be bitching over scratches you will almost never see....unless you OBSESS over them

Go fly the damn thing and be obsessed over your pictures.
