Hi,

I can not find Dynamic Home Point option in app. I'm currently running lates FW and app everywhere, but I can not see it on Mavic 2 pro. When I connecting Mavic 1 Pro the option is there.

Any idea what's wrong?

There is no problem. It's not a feature of the Mavic 2.

Hi i can see it with my M2P from IPHONE 8 & Android device , but not from IPAD MINI.

depends on the your smartphone GPS.

I use same iphone 7+ for M1P and M2P and on 1 is working and on 2 it's not?!

can u try different phone with M2P

This is confusing, does this mean that if you're being tracked inside a car and you drive for a mile, then initiate return home it will land where you are or land where you took off?

Dynamic Home Point is the little picture of the person as Home. When pressed, the drone will RTH to the R/C (you) instead of where it took off from as normal.

So if you’re on a boat, then launch your Mavic and enable dynamic Home Point, it’ll Return-to-Home to wherever you and the boat are now.

if Dynamic home point enabled it will land where you are !!

That is odd. I have this option available on my M2P (I am using a Samsung Note 8)

any news on that point ? i have samunsg S9 and i dont see dynamic home point update - so while i was in active track, the drone always reached the limit altough i used my RC position as RTH position and then stopped following me. always had to update manualy the position ..

I know its sad but It's not a feature of the Mavic 2 any more and with the latest update of DJI GO 4 it has been "hidden" as a not supported feature

If you stil got it are you using it? What firmware you are up to? can you share a photo or a short video?

Why is it hidden? If on a boat it is an essential feature! Please DJI, bring it back! You must have a reason for hiding it, but  as long as we know what are doing it is OK.

Your location services are turned off on your phone. If they are off, the option isnt available. it IS in fact a feature.

Almost a YEAR passed, any update on it?

I do not see dynamic home point on mavic mini. Anyone know if this is available? I see a controller or drone option as home point but it won’t auto update. I have to go in and update it.

I Agree that the dynamic home point is one really essential feature and I do hope DJI will fix this for the Mavic 2 asap

It's not been a feature of the Mavic 2 or most other DJI drones since the old Phantom 2V+
And it's not really necessary anyway.

Well with my CrystalSky and Mavic 2pro.... There is no ACTUAL Dynamic Home Point Function Switch!!!!
BUT>>>>When the CrystalSky establish GPS fix
It will ask you if you want to update the Home-Point to the CONTROLLER!!
i.e. dynamic Home Point....

i.e. dynamic Home Point....
That's not a dynamic home point.
You would just be resetting the homepoint to the current location of the controller.
It will not update to follow the controller as it moves.

Try it and see what the screen message tells you.

If it were truly dynamic that could make the Low Battery RTH threshold variable over time. Maybe that is not the best idea. How would the drone know how far it can go out and still get back to the new "home point" if it is constantly changing?
