A shot I took the day I recorded the video from Sletterhage Lighthouse.
Unbelievably how much easier it is to deal with poorly illuminated images, compared to the work with video. Maybe a bit exaggerated here, but now it looks like the sun is shining on it. Try for yourself comparing to the same tree in the video, which I also did a lot to make brighter. The video is here and the tree is about 20 seconds in.

Its a cracking shot and the difference between the still and video is as clear as night and day. What camera did you use for the still and what software! I have recently started using capture 1 for processing raw files and pleasantly surprised at how good it is. But for serious work you can't beat PS.

I used my MP for the shot of a single HDR image. Edited with PS on my sons laptop.
I can't afford PS myself.

Yeah PS is regrettably serious money to pay out for. We have PS5 and I refuse to upgrade any further, it cost me a small fortune for the disk and as long as my bottom still points downwards I will not pay a monthly subscription for the upgrade. As far as I am concerned I can do what I need to do on CS5 so my money stays in Miche's purse lol

I do not particularly like black and white pictures, but I would like to send you a better version than this if you would like to give it a try yourself. The RAW file is gone - I only have the edited JPG. PM me if you are interested.

However, I can not disagree more. The image is artificially edited for bringing up the appearance it has, and thus it's everything but natural. Even in the video, I had to edit as everything would just look gray and boring otherwise. But if you by your choice of words means it's more beautiful for the eye, then I agree.

The beautiful curves of the tree are the best. The gray colors of the sky and the green of the grass complete a beautiful image. Thanks FlyDK
