My Phantom 4 Advanced battery casing is cracked at the bottom release button. Is this common, should i be concerned and does it require a replacement? IMG_1942.JPG

Don't have dud batteries laying around, this is less than a year old. But i will see if i can find one locally.

I was thinking that, so i have to grab the invoice for the purchase and submit a support ticket to DJI and see how i go.

Might even contact the seller here in Australia i purchased it from.

You have the Australian consumer law to fall back on. Goods must last for a reasonable amount of time. ~1 year for a $289 battery is not reasonable.

They should repair it.

Was all going well, support ticket in, shipping label provided (AUS Post) to local repair office in Victoria (i thought it would go back to china) i even got calls from China to make sure everything was going well. Had to pay for the box and bubble wrap but that was ok $4 lol

It arrived and was unpacked assessed in one day and WHAM $80 invoice, $20 of it is to ship the damn thing back to me!

No way to contact support, so i will get on chat tomorrow when they open (10 AM EST)

I would definatly fight it as long as the battery is still under warranty.
They need to prove neglect to not cover it
