With only the controller on, In the DJI GO 4 app, go to the main screen(the one that shows a picture of your drone, in this case Mavic Air), touch and hold your finger in the top right of the screen for a few seconds(on top of the icon with the 3 lines), then let go. You should move into a firmware update menu, this should let you update/refresh the firmware, if it doesn't just screen shot it so we can see the message you get.
This did not work for me - when I used the Android DJI Go 4 and followed the instructions, all it displayed was:
Equipment N/A
Firmware Version N/A
Downgrade Firmware to:
Then below, an empty drop-down box (unresponsive)
Lastly: No available firmware for this device
When I power up the remote controller, the Status LED is solid red. When I hold the flight pause, function button and Customizable button, the LED begins to flash green and continuous beeps generated. After a short while, it returns to solid red.. the DJI Go 4 app says I need to update the remote controller firmware, but having used DJI Assistant 2 to successfully update the firmware on myMavic Air, all I see is a round image and hear the PC launch and drop the USB application. I have tried this on two PCs (WIn 10 pro) - no success... |
