There is no weather for flying at my latitudes at the moment. It is gray and cold, it rains and blows, and the predictions are that it will continue some days into next week - normal for the season can be said.
I decided to make a small TUTO (kind off) video about Vertigo Effect, using the video material I already have, and selected the 8 clips that had the most potential. They were run through Movie Studio 15 and for the interested, the result can be seen below.
The video is made of 4K material and rendered down to 1080p. I have not made the video to be nice and flashy, but for the individual to see what's possible and learn what works and what works less well. There are some explanations along the way.
I've never done anything like this, so I hope you'll be happy with the video and that some of you can make use of it. I also hope that you'll try to make some effect videos, and then, of course, share it here.
EDIT: A user made me aware that I should probably mention this.
I have used the exact same zoom level in all clips, which also all are of the same length - both the first and the second set. The reason that the effect seems bigger in the second set of clips is that you start to watch each clip with no zoom at all and that the level of zoom therefore is greatest at the end of the clips. Your eyes catch up faster and your brain can better understand what is happening.

Thanks for the tutorial.
I am adding it to my video tip file.
I thought you did a superb job explaining how it was done.
The fingers are so crossed that I am in doubt if I ever get them stretched out again.
I've just watched the weather, and maybe there will be an opening on Sunday for a flight with the drone. That would be so nice.

That's pretty cool. I especially like the second set of vids going backwards... they seemed to me to have more effect Thanks for sharing...
I'm glad you like it and you're absolutely right about what you experienced.
