Hello everyone! So after using the Mavic 2 Pro extensively over the past month, I had noticed a few things that bug me about the hyperlapse feature of the drone so I've decided to sum them up in a video. These are some small things which really limit the professional users to get the most out of the drone, so I really hope DJI will address these in the future updates!
I talk about general hyperlapse interface problems, waypoint mode limitations, course lock and the live view crop. For more details see the video below! I'm interested in seeing what you think about these, and did you notice these problems for yourself!
Agree with what was discussed specially the emulated menu with lots of flexibility with the settings. But DJI being an overly protective parent, I'd be happy if we can even see 1/4 of those settings implemented. Shutter speed settings is a big factor and hope they at least give that settings back to us.

Good, sensible suggestions. And most of those seem to be UI or very simple software fixes they could implement.
Yeah, I didn't want to go overboard and ask for something which may be beyond the drone's capabilities! I just want to see some logical solutions for something that should've been there from the release.

Yeah, these are some things that really don't make any sense as to why they're "locked away". The shutter speed thing especially!
It's almost as if they're thinking about the hyperlapse mode being a video mode, instead of it being photo mode. I'm actually surprised that the shutter isn't locked in the Free mode too, going by how DJI is handling it.
Yeah, it's a cool feature, but I never use it because of the video duration limitations. I rather think of a different camera placement and switch to Free mode instead. It's really a shame features like these can't be used properly.
It might be time for a 3rd party solution. Dronepan, Litchi and others can automate many things on the DJi birds; why couldn't someone give us a Timelapse app?

We shouldn't expect 3rd party apps for this, we should expect this feature to be built into a drone we spent so much money on.

I don't disagree. It seems that DJI doesn't care. Two month in and a lot missing or not working correctly.
