Sadly didnt get the low clouds and a clear sky above i wanted for this test but a proof of concept.

Clouds being formed above a tropical rainforest.  8.5 minutes or shots at 2 second interval.  DNGs made into a sequence with LRTimelapse then stabilised in Premiere.

Looks nice, but how did you have a 2 second intervall? The shortest intervall using RAW format is 5 seconds. 2 seconds only works in JPEG?
Or has this been changed with the Mavic 2?

Mavic 2 hyperlapse defaults to 2 seconds (but is selectable).

Even in RAW? DJI's official page says something else:


Intervall: (JPEG: 2/3/5/7/10/15/20/30/60 sRAW: 5/7/10/15/20/30/60 s)

Now that's interesting. DJI should be able to implement it in an update, then.

When you shoot Hyperlapses with the Mavic 2 in hyperlapse mode, can you safe the DNGs as seperate files like you are able in panorama mode?

Yes.  Thats how i make it.  Process the DNGs in LRTimelapse and stabilise in Premiere
