Has anybody heard if a zoom lens is coming for the X7?

What I can do is forward your suggestion to our R&D engineers to check if this will be possible in the future. Thanks for your understanding.

Part of the issue is that to build a zoom of the quality that you would want to use on the X7, you would need the moving glass to use quite a bit of the length of the lens barrels, this then becomes an issue as the gimbal goes out of balance. The zoom lenses that are approved for use on the X5S are short barrel zooms which produce average image quality.
