I'd like to do some calculations and don't have access to the hardware.

I'd like to know about the FOV of the DJI MFT 15mm F1.7 ASPH lens on the Zenmuse X5 when you're shooting at 4:3.

Referring to this document: https://static.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/141127.pdf

I see that the FOV is 72 degrees, and I assume that's the full scope. Going to a 4:3 ratio, I've found EXIF data that suggests the FOV is 61.9 degrees with an image size of 5280x3956.

Can anyone verify this?

Also, does the 4:3 ratio scale the focus from the center of the sensor? I would be shocked if it didn't, but just asking.

Thanks!

The Zenmuse X5 camera on Inspire 1 / Osmo Pro features a Micro Four Thirds sensor with a horizontal stride of about 4.6K pixels (shown in the manual), and is incapable of capturing photos of dimension 5280x3956.

However, if you are using the 15mm lens on Zenmuse X5S (whose effective diagonal of the 5.2K sensor is about 21.7mm in 4:3 photo capture mode), the FOV is 72 degrees.

Here's the EXIF data I was going by - not sure if it's a X5 or X5S, but I think I'll be ok with wht I have.

Thank you for the reply though! Much appreciated!
