Unfortunately  timelapses on the Mavic 2 are severely crippled by the inability to comprehensively set interval, shutter speed, distance traveled, number off photos taken and length of video.

in my case, i was able to set the interval, the shutter speed and the length of the video. the # of photos taken is based on the length of the video. so if you choose a 10s video that means 250 photos (it is calculated at 25 fps).

it was filmed in Targoviste, Romania. Location is called "Turnul Chindiei". 19th Century building. It has a lot of history and it's the symbol of the town.

Some modes let you.  Waypoints is very limited, the only way to get more time or photos is to fly further.  Try moving only 100 feet and get a 8 to 10 second video with 200 to 250 photos.

indeed, waypoint is different. but i would not say it's limited. the idea is to travel on a defined pattern and the device will do the rest. i am quite happy with not bothering calculating everything but letting the Mavic telling me how much the gimbal was moved and if that fits the hyperlapse.
i think it's just a personal preference
