Whats the difference between the P4P and the P4P+?
Whats the plus for?

Hello there. I appreciate your time bringing this query to us.  The difference between the Phantom 4 Pro and Phantom 4 Pro+ is the remote controller. The Phantom 4 Pro+ remote controller includes a 5.5-inch high monitor with integrated DJI Go 4 full control. Should you have further question, please don't hesitate to reach us. Thank you.

I have the P4P+, I wish I had bought the P4P controller and an IPAD, DJI just does not give us the support for this controller and their phone tech support is a waste of time to get any answers to my problems. DO NOT BUY THE P4P+

Not looking to buy. just curious.
I'm running a P4P with the 7.85 crystalsky
so really the only difference is the display?
Whatever, I dont consider a smaller screen a plus. lol
I really love the crystalsky for it's clarity in bright skies.

I made the mistake of buying the P4P+. As above mentioned the difference is the remote. If you are trying to use any flight planning software or any third party software at all for that matter the P4P+ remote will not work for you (not even the DJI flight planning software GS Pro). You've been warned don't make the same mistake I did. I even called customer support after only having the drone delivered 2 days previous to try to exchange the remote for a regular remote and they basically told me to kick rocks.

Thanks for the heads up. I thought that was the only real difference. Sometimes companies are so anxious to get their product to market they don't think it all the way through. Too bad there are so many downs to this model. I will never buy one.

The P4P+ remote with the attached display is extremely noisy, and very loud, whereas the P4P without display is quiet. The P4P+ rc sounds like a huge fan buzzing inside.

I'm almost always outside flying my V2.0   so I haven't found that to be even noticeable.

The real issue is the inability to download some third party software for mapping, etc
and  the lack of the 5.8ghz frequency promised. The response to this issue has been no response on this forum from moderators. Talking with customer support has been slow. Still awaiting answers from them....
