Can you use the Dji Spark RC for the new flight simulator? I see that you can fly the Spark but it doesn't include the Dji Spark RC on comaptile Remote controls.

Per the DJI Flight Simulator FAQ (https://www.dji.com/simulator/info#faq), you can only use the following remote controllers:

• Phantom 4
• Phantom 4 Advanced
• Phantom 4 Pro
• Phantom 4 Pro V2.0
• Lightbridge 2
• M600 Pro
• Mavic Air
  

Support for the Mavic 2 series remote controllers is coming soon.

That's so sad, the Dji Spark is on the simulator, but its remote control, is not compatible.

I am also very disappointed that I am unable to use this facility with a spark, very poor decision and I hope it can be rectified.

I just installed the DJI Sim and tried it with the Spark RC

- The RC isn't recognised by Windows (10)
- The simulator doesn't complain about an invalid controller or no controller, even if you plug/unplug it whle it's running
- The Mavic Air RC shown looks just like the Spark RC, also Mavic 2 seems to be there with the update I had to install (Launcher 2.1.0.1)
- I could select the Spark but  it shows the Mavic's features
- The RC definitely doesn't work
- The menu control for models and modes/settings is via keyboard, the mouse is not available (except when you hit enter and get a meaningless control menu)
- I got the impression that it's possible to control flight via keyboard but that didn't work either
- The only method I found to quit the Sim was to Alt-Tab out of it and close the program

Maybe the next update?

Hi Jacob, the Remote Controller of Spark is not compatible with the Flight Simulator currently, sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Hi munchausen, currently, the Flight Simulator only supports Windows 10 system, we do not have any news about other system, please note our website about the future update, thanks for your attention.

You are right.

Installed it and removed it again !

No mouse, no connection to RC....oops, stuck  how to close this program? nope, only using task manager in W10.

Try again DJI !

It's not supported, but it can be used with this workaround.

Heard that XBOX Controller works fine with the simulator.

it does not work on my PC. The CPU is maxed out at 100% when I launch the simulator.

look in windows, @ devices if you see above picture, if yes your RC has been recognise by windows. I like to know if Spark RC is recognised by windows

Windows does not recognize the spark rc.. thats sad

So disappointed that the Mavic Pro will not work o Netherlands simulator, let's hope that will fix this error soon

I was trying to use the flight simulator too but I can’t now because of the non compatibility of the Spark controller. Could you please add the Spark controller into the game in a later update.

I found out about the DJI Simulator today and looked up some videos on how to use it.

I am the organizer of a meetup of more than 1800 members that fly drones (mostly DJI products) in my city. I was so excited about this application (DJI Simulator) and the possibilities that I sent a email to all  members to look into this software. After that I downloaded it, installed and tried to take off. But it did not work.
I have a computer that can handle the specs for the software. Your website says that it supports the Spark. But after trying different cables and usb ports on my computer I look up why it did not work. I found this page that states that you don't support the Spark even though it says it works on you main page for the software.
Such a shame that you publish things to the public that don't  work. However, if I am wrong...please correct me.
I will now go back to my members of my drone group and tell them to be careful in downloading this app and using it.

You're a cool guy organizing that meetup and yes, I wish the Spark RC worked. It's such a shame.

Come on DJI....find a way so that your 1000's of Spark users can use the Sim!
