Any idea if there’s a new Mavic Air due out? I’m looking at buying something a little smaller than my MP/M2P but wonder if I should wait

I don't think there will be a MA coming out anytime soon.

Go for it, it’s a cracking little craft, I see better video and photos from MavAir than much bigger dji craft, and I don’t think you will see Mavic Air 2 for a while yet.

I love my MA, but the "bugs" have clearly not all been solved.

Buy it know. Mavic Air was released 23rd of January this year and DJI generally keeps their products in production for 1.5-2 years before they release a second generation.

I'm not aware of the current bugs people are experiencing, but usually most serious issues will have been fixed after this amount time.
And I know some MA flyers that have very good experiences around here.

I'm not aware of current issues some might experience, all I know is some MA flyers close to where I live that are very happy with their bird.
No bugs in their drone that I know of.

PS, my MP also drifts from time to time. Even gives some yaw movement.
I just disable the obstacle sensors and it is ok.
Seems to be related to that.

I am enjoying my MA. I say go for it.

No harm in pulling the trigger now

Great aircraft, putchased mine on day 1 and has been a flawless little flyer.  Fantastic camera and quite a stable platform given its size.  I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I hope they come out with a MA pro.

My friend just got his yesterday and he  is pleased as punch.
Flies great and takes excellent videos and photos.

I like mine. Get it. It might drop in price but so might every other drone out there. It's the nature of the beast. If you really want to see if it goes cheaper then wait until Black Friday.

I bought my MA around the end of July and absolutely no problems with it.  I guess I have been lucky to avoid the issues that have plagued other people.

Very happy with mine, no problems so far, need a newer computer and monitor if i am to watch 4k though, that said 1080p looks really good (better than my spark).

The mavic air has a very well known bug which is that its imposible to connect the controler to the aircraft once you connect to the aircraft just using your mobile via wifi. This has been well documented since the mavic air came out. Im experiencing this right now with a brand new mavic air. Just do a search online about this and you will see all the complaints. Dji havent responded to this and continues to sell defective units knowing the problem exist!! I can not explain to you how frustrating this is !!  I would stay away knowing what i know now.
