Very true. Bu I'm ok with that, I haven't had success with Android.

Just updated my old s5 to the new version. Glad it still works as it seems my lg g6 still wont work with the app

I’ve been using it for a while it’s been on CS for 10 months , I’ve mainly used it on P4Pro but it works on MavicPro.

just gave it a try.. wouldn't hook up to my mavic pro.. must only be mavic 2 pro/zoom...  saw my controller .. got into camera view but as soon as I started up the pro it exited camera view and said device not supported

you have it working on your pro?

Yes it does work on Android with CS haven’t tried with iOS app.

According to DJI, Pilot on iOS only works with Mavic Enterprise, I tried it briefly yesterday and it would not work with my P4.

I have used it on P4Pro it has been available on beta for almost 10 months. Haven’t tried iOS for Mavic or Mavic 2

Hallmark...can you explain why you might prefer using the 'pilot' app to fly?

There is only one reason for me and that’s clients needing confidentiality, I fly a matrice for a company surveying wind turbines, they offer pilot app as a means of client confidentiality, some require it so we have started using it in beta mode and now we will use the app as it is now.
The app is really stripped back compared to go4 so you don’t get things like automatic modes AT, Quickshots tap fly etc.
I haven’t used it on M2 but have flown with P4Pro, but for me unless you need the confidentiality part of the app, I’m not to sure why you would need it, although some say that go4 has become somewhat over bloated and so would assume pilot app will have less crashes etc, I haven’t noticed, my go4 app has crashed twice on me that I can remember and Pilot app crashed once in beta, I do think that for those using enterprise it will offer a much simpler way of using the app for what they need. This is all just my humble opinion

I've free'd it up on the CS...and will try it soon just to see.

I lost a MP with a go4 crash a couple of months ago, so it this proves more stable it might be worth it.

My dji 4 app is version 4.3.2 on android. I didnt get an update to dji 4.4. My android version is 8.0 (oreo).

There is no version 4.4 for the app, they refer to Android Operating System 4.4

The latest update for the DJI GO 4 app that I could find is 4.3.2

I see there is a reference to app version 4.3.4 but that is not available in the Google Play Store.

and again no waypoints, slowly I have the impression dji wants to fool us with these updates.
1. changes the geo zones color (why and for what)
2. optimizes some features for better user experience (which, or is that just dji blabla)

the Mavic came up with a system error...

Downard Vision Sensor Error (e00002)
Hardware Malfunction. Contact DJI Support to arrange for repairs.
Vision System Error (e00002)
Restart Aircraft. Contact DJI Support if the problem persists.



Connecting to DJI Assistant 2 (for the first time) and running the sensor calibration showed that the upper camera was blank.

Any suggestions?

I can't use hyperlapse on my mavic 2 pro. I already update the new firmware. Is there someone know what i'm going to do? Thanks.

With all due respect the new Mavic 2 firmware makes the APAS not work. The support on the phone is terrible as they all thought it was the drone, after downgrading to the previous firmware the APAS worked, upgrading to new and even refreshing the new version still made no difference the APAS is not working. Also receiving false gimbal overheat motor errors

Any feedback from users yet?

Has anyone noticed a marked improvement or experienced any issues?  Has your distance really improved?

These continuous problems with dji mp2 is on the verge of fraud and a class action suit is seriously being considered by 1000's of us who have nothing more than a $1500 paperweight,what happened to Chinese Honor and integrity? Ancestors would be ashamed of this type of blatent behavior
