Any good reason for the ATTI mode is in between IOC and P mode on the switch?

I'm thinking when you need to switcth to ATTI to take controll over the drone in an emergency situation, I feel its a bit fiddling to hit the midle position with the tiny switch and the close steps, how will it be in an stressed situation?

It is probably because that is the way that they have all their craft set up.  GPS/ATTI/Manual.  There is no manual on the Inspire or the P3.

danny, what do you mean take control in an emergency situation? What are the advantage of ATTI vs P-Mode beside more horizontal speed?
